College History

Viswam Degree & P.G. College was inaugurated on June, 2001, and began with few students under Viswam Educational Society at Angallu,Madanapalle. The founder of Viswam Group of Institutions is Shri. M. Prabhakar Reddy. He established the Viswam Degree & P.G. College to fulfill the education needs of students from rural areas and provide educational facilities and transportation facilities suitable to achieve agricultural and industrial development. To keep pace with time, the college has introduced new courses to meet the growing needs of the students for higher education in different fields. Viswam Degree & P.G. College was affiliated with Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupathi. The birth, growth and development of the Viswam Degree & P.G. College is a cumulative result of the immense sacrifice, dedication, hard work and perseverance of a good number of well meaning selfless individuals as well as some prominent organizations. To disseminate knowledge among the students, the college implements various curricular, co-curricular & extracurricular activities. This also helps to students to achieve all-round development & to raise their academic standards. The college has also implemented various schemes and provided facilities.National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has given ‘A’ Grade to this college.

  •  To create awareness, concern and care for environment by gearing various collegiate activities to sustainable environmental practices encompassing the State’s land, water, flora and fauna.
